Hello November!

The start of November has been pretty hectic – as usual, I’ve had loads of things lined up to do and have hardly managed to finish any of them… It doesn’t really help that I’ve been completely wiped out, and most of my time on my work at home days and weekends have been used up with nap time! But a few exciting things have happened, so I thought that a little post was in order.

Firstly, my gorgeous friend and partner-in-craft, Daria, announced to the world on her blog that she and Mr C-C are expecting! Hooray! This is commonly referred to as ‘waiting for Mr Cub’ (even though they don’t know if it’s a boy or a girl yet!) – you can read Daria’s post about it here. So everything is a bit hectic at the moment…we’re still trying to do as much as we can for Less Grafting More Crafting, and are planning our next event (which is happening very soon). Check out our website for more info, which is coming soon!

The second exciting thing that happened is that on Sunday I met up with the lovely Corrie from What Taylor Made. I’ve never met up with anyone from the world of blogging before, but we had such a lovely afternoon (with lots of tea drinking, obviously!) and it felt like I’d known her for ages! Really hope we can meet up again soon 🙂 I must also get in touch with The Glass Lantern who has also recently moved up to Newcastle – it would be lovely to meet up with her!

Today I’m baking some more Millionaire’s Flapjack for my friend Kimberley’s 80s-themed roller disco party tomorrow night! So excited! Have you ever been to a roller disco? I haven’t been on skates since I was a kid, so this could be interesting! I’m also baking something else to take along, but you’ll have to wait to hear what that is…I’m also hoping to fit in some crafting at some point today, but I may have been too ambitious!

Hope you’re having a lovely day, whatever you’re doing! 🙂

  1. Hi Clare, it was so lovely to meet you at the weekend, and thanks for showing me an amazing tea stop! I’ve had a super busy week with the baby arriving, it is a little girl, I guessed right! She’s going to look amazing in the costume I got.

I’ll give you a shout next time I’m up in the toon!!

    Take care.x

    • Hooray! It’s super exciting – well done for guessing correctly! I bet she’ll look so cute as a reindeer! Hopefully my favourite tea shop will be open next time I see you, and I can share the delights of the Quilliam Brothers tea selection!

Take care and hopefully I’ll see you soon 🙂 xxx

  2. Hi Clare

Just seen this (supposed to be working but reading blogs I’ve missed out on while I’ve been a way is much more exciting!)- we should so meet up (I’ll DM you somehow!)- always love meeting new people (particularly fellow “crafty” people!).
